...or not. Either way, I’m not sure how I’ll feel really. Wonder if it’ll be a watch and wait approach again, diagnosis or discharge from services. Either way, I’m slightly worried 😟

We are seeing the NHS Consultant Paed in our local hospital. We’ve met with her a few times in the past, but SALT have completed their part of the multi agency assessment now and we’ve waited a little longer to keep an eye on things with our Dd at school etc. I’m just not sure how it will go and confused about what we think ourselves to be honest. Some days she does so well. I think very high functioning. She does struggle hugely with Selective Mutism and sensory issues though. She can also be a little unpredictable and erratic out and about. I just don’t know!!

I hope they give you an answer and not the wait and see as I think you have more than enough information to provide them with.
I know exactly what you mean when you say some days are really good but from what I gather this does happen so don’t let this fool you.
Things are up and down still, as per the medication thread I did we are onto our 3rd type of med but I think this is the right path so this dx does make sense. It’s just clarity isn’t it!
I’m sure you will be prepared but do t let them fob you off I really feel you should get the answers so i would not want to leave without them.x

Thank you. Feeling a little stressed about it! Just seen your thread. Sounds like a rollercoaster! Hope the medication you try helps and things settle a little for you.

It is a nightmare but I feel as though I am doing something- have something to try to help! I tell you the first med was amazing the difference in dd was just so great but the side effects not good.
Hope it goes ok for you rem to take your notes and what you think it is and stay strong on that. Let us know how you get on!
