CP/ hypoxia ischaemia/ birth injury anxiety disorders?

So dd2 has cp as a result of a birth injury. She’s 14. School called and suggested anxiety disorder/ OCD referral. Anxiety has been discussed (she has some quirks) and I asked them to consider physiological stuff too as I had a gut feeling that everything was linked. She’s also scary clever and has a known history of overthinking/ emotional over-sensitivity.
Anyhoo, I have set her up with MH intake for Feb, but I made the mistake of googling (yeah yeah I know). There do seem to be links between hypoxia insults in foetal or newborn period and anxiety disorders in adulthood. Anyone any experience of this? Who the hell does she need to see? Psych? Paed? Neuro? Eeeeee. Any advice welcomed - I thought we were through the complicated bit but now this extra facet is tearing up...

I'm so glad you posted as my DD is experiencing this too. She's 10 with very mild CP due to HIE at birth but the anxiety issues are becoming more and more obvious as she gets older.

What sort of things does your DD struggle with? We have major issues over food and eating but lots of things related to school too. So far we've seen our paed and an Ed Psych - but we need another appointment to find out what else might be out there!
