Lack of provision in Cambridge primary schools

I was considering a move to Cambridge with my 3 year old son who has ASD. I was very put off by being told by a caseload worker in the SEN department that there are no units or special provision in Cambridge primary schools and that children are sent to Gretton or The Castle school if they need any specialist teachers or resources. This does not sound encouraging. My son is high functioning but has behaviour, communication and sensory issues, Can anyone tell
Me what provision is like in Cambridge? Is there s special ASD pathway ? Any experience of the primary schools?
