My daughter is very, very petite. She is just six, but some of her clothes are in the 18-24 month bracket.
This is now causing her problems with frustration.
She cannot comprehend that children younger than she are bigger, and she will argue until melt down that she is older so she is bigger.
Her appetite is small and she will not eat meat or fish.
I have tried to teach her a couple of comebacks for when her size is commented upon, but would welcome any suggestions as to how to help her accept her body.
(She is being investigated for idiopathic short stature).
