Hey everyone I'm new here!

I have 4 children and my middle 4 year old struggles with pooing so he doesn't always know when it's happening. The doctors just keep giving him powders is annoying but hey ho.

I want to take him to lessons but I'm worried about him pooing in the pool or should I just wait for a few months?

Or is there something that's not a nappy because that will make him feel a bit stupid

Blankencare would also make some.

A "good sitting habit" as they say might help. If he regularly spends 5 mins on the loo 20 mins after meals, you're harnessing the natural reflex that encourages pooing after meals and you may find accidents decrease.

I know some children have swimming lessons from very young but it goes on for years. You can easily wait until he's 6 or so. He'll be stronger and more coordinated, and will make faster progress.
