Picture on the left is the top and bottom circles Picture on the right is the top circle.

You have to see them as 3 circles cut of of card. Then put them on top of each other to make the pattern you see.

So the one where you can see the whole outline is the shape at "in front."
Any shape where you can't see the whole outline is the one behind another shape.

Thank you Rozen, the opposite page just gives supplementary activities.

Does 'infront' mean colour in the 'first shape' ? It's a bit confusing.

2nd paragraph in the 2nd column.

You give ds the top picture (either photocopied or in the book, or a similar print out from the internet) and ask him to colour the shape at the front.
If he understands the concept of 'in front' and 'behind' he should be able to do it if he doesn't have problems with visual perception.

My dd has visual perception disorder, she would struggle to work out the layering.

Does the opposite page of the instruction book give you any more instructions of how to develop it?

Hello all smile

DS OT recommended the Write from the start book to help with DS handwriting.

However ! In the book, I don't know what part 3B is about ?!!! What do you even do ?!!! I am aware is somewhat to do with visual discrimination but how do you start the exercise ???
