Restless sleep

My son 3yrs old was recently diagnosed with autism and is a very restless sleeper. He will wake up several times during the night and sometimes can't fall back asleep for some time, looking for some advice on what other parents have found helpful in this situation thanks in advance

I also have a (nearly) 3yo autistic son, thankfully sleep isn't a big issue for him but I have read that weighted blankets can help and if it's really bad the dr can prescribe melatonin which aids sleep

Yeah I have read about the weighted blanket and seen mixed reviews looking to see if anyone has tried them before I go and pay over £100 for one
