Just wondering really..DD has started to get worked up and can't stand us talking! It's not in a rude "shut up" way, but literally like she cannot stand the noise. Said she can't concentrate and that it hurts her head. But really really like she can't stand us talking....

We have that but singing/music, not talking.

Yes! DD does both what you described zzzzz and same as your ds F1ipFlopFrus. Our little girl is 6 next month.

Sometimes she'll be okay with singing other times it's like she hates it! DDs had a hard few weeks and difficulties seem to have increased. Had a hair wash from hell earlier!!

What do we think the sensitivity to talking or singing is connected with?

I think for my ds the singing/music thing is about both the noise (he says tunes get stuck in his head, but he may have just found people DO stop if he says that grin) and also that people move differently when music is on. The emotions displayed and the sudden "odd" movements are very jarring. He is very language disordered so body language a very loud part of communication for him (contrary to what the so called experts think).
