If your child hurts someone at school...

..,do you apologise to the parent of the other child if you happen to see them? Or do you say nothing to them and just deal with the teacher and let the other parent do the same.

I think you deal directly with the school. If you apologies you put the other parent in the position of having to say "that's ok" or "apologies can't make it ok", both of which are painful.

It will be ok. As long as things are put in place to stop it, you should try to move on.

Yeah agree it can make things awkward.

My ds hurt some kids but equally got hurt by others. School dealt with it.
