What are the hardest sounds to make?

DD1 is 3.7 and dyspraxic.

She started SALT today.

I noticed, when they were working with her, that she has a hard time making hte sounds for 'r' and 'l' in particular.

'Fire engine', for example, came out 'file engin'.

Her hearing has been tested, so no problems there.

We'll be doing our exercises at home with her, but are wondering why some sounds may be harder for her to make.

My dd has a speech disorder and is currently receiving weekly salt, the first three sounds they have been working on are s, t and f. Try getting dd to make the sounds in front of a mirror then she can see where to put her teeth, topngue lips etc it really helps.
