Has anyone used one of <a class="break-all" href="//amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B000JF4250/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1469739422&sr=8-3&keywords=time%20timers&pi=SY200_QL40&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">these Time Timers? They look very simple and clear....but pricey! Any recommendations??

We have the learning resources time tracker, the big one with the accompanying big price ticket.

It's not that easy to programe each of the sections separately, but once it's programmed it's easy to rerun the set programe. There is also an automatic mode, more like a normal timer where you just have to set the time. I think the mini is supposed to be easier to set.

It's definitely best at the things where you're needing the same amount of time each time. In our case mostly the kids taking turns. IT was particularly good for things like computer games, we set if for half an hour or whatever and DS knew that once it got to amber he shouldn't start another level and should wind up what he's doing.
