Ds has asd and finds friendships difficult to maintain as the rules are always changing.
A lovley little girl in his class has out of no where decided that he is awesome (as we already know) and that she is his friend and as such he gets to hang out with all her friends... She's a social butterfly.
Over the last couple of weeks everything at school has improved he will happily do his school work without fuss other children have more time for him and are more accepting of his quirks.
At his handover meeting with his old and soon to be new teacher his friendship with little xx was raise as a huge posertive I was sure to ask if xxx was happy to be around my ds all the time but she told the teacher she loves ds more than pancakes and ice cream.
Obviously I am aware things might change over the holidays but we're leaving this school year on a high
