DH went for a brain scan yesterday, he got a phone call at lunch time to say they had found some abnormalities and want him back in pronto, the nuero guy wanted the brain scan to check/rule out MS/ brain tumour.
he has gone back to hospital taken by his brother cos it ain't easy to find childcare for my three. meanwhile i am having to listen to the usual bizzare chats with my three waffling on about tescos blue milk. what time Beths imaginary baby needs to go to his imaginary nursery and what characters DS has unlocked on lego star wars, when all i really wanna do is curl up in a ball and sob
we were supposed to be going on holiday 15th feb so looks like we will have to cancel, which will not go down well with the kids.

it's all the waiting that gets me, visting hours very strict 2-8, they won't give much info on the phone and to be honest the amount of stress taking the kids to the hospital doesn't bear thinking about.

am ok (ish) its just at times like this it really hits home how different the kids are, i know in the morning that all 3 will have a wobbler about dad not doing their breakfast and other stuff that is important to them, meanwhile i am still trying to sort out the girls school bus picking them up from the house and working out how i can be in 2 places at the same time.

i have talked to the hospital but they are less than helpful, he was sent in last week for an emergency brain scan but told the doctor he was fine so they sent him home in a taxi, it didn't matter to them that he didn't even know what day it was.

oh it pisses me off that hospitals show such lack of understanding about autism. Is he still telling all the drs he's OK (I hope if so they're not believing him now and will do all the necessary investiagtions).

OJ, I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you, DH and family are alright. You seem like a fantastic person, who will find the strength to cope with whatever is thrown your way. I hope your DH makes a quick recovery now that they have found whats wrong. Sending you good wishes at this difficult time.
