tribunal nerves - any tips?

so tribunal is tomorrow and I feel pretty sick. I am trembling now so God knows what I will be like in the morning. Does anyone have any tips? I am so worried I will start stammering and struggling to get my points across.

Good luck - take post it notes, so u can write notes to dp or any of your witnesses while someone else is talking.

Do you have a tribunal rep? Put post it notes on the edge of any key reports in your tribunal bundle file, so you can turn to them instantly! (I prepared an index to my tribunal bundle, but its probably too late for you to do that now?)

Thank you. Am so excited. We won! La conceded when they realised their own witness didnt support their position.

Awesome!! What a shame they let it go all the way to a hearing though! Such a waste of everyone's time and money!

Hope things can move forward for you now GrinFlowers

Brilliant! But shouldn't they, um, have talked to their witness before rather than put you through that?

Given that the LA conceded on the day apparently through poor preparation then I suggest you ask for costs.

It happened to us at our first tribunal! The LA's only witness thought we were quite right!

Yes am annoyed they put us through all the stress and expense of making a case. They were not keen to concede even when faced with their witness disagreeing with them. Took two hours for them to decide to concede. Beggars belief really. I think they must have some kind of policy of taking all cases to tribunal. Feel exhausted but on edge. Think it's all the adrenaline!

I am just happy for you that you dont have that awful wait for the decision notice!

Hope you can chill out a bit today Smile

I agree with Nigel, you should ask for costs. I think you have to do it within a couple of weeks.
