Hi
I'm feeling very very frustrated that my ds has been consistently at the bottom of the reward chart since starting reception. This morning, the difference was so stark - he was at the bottom with another child and all the kids were right at the top. He has aspergers. Teacher mentioned he has been copying bad behaviours of other kids and he gets hyper some afternoons. I know this is because he isn't eating properly at lunch time. I have told her a few times to inform me if some problem is persisting bit she left it a whole term to tell me about the copying. I think it's really humiliating for him and me. How should I tackle it? I'm thinking if asking them to remove his name until he is in a position to compete on the same basis but I guess this will make things worse. I'm really fed up of it. He has made massive progress with his social skills and is well behaved at home. I just understand that he can be so badly behaved that he is always at the bottom. Feeling upset and deflated.
