Was hoping someone could share their experience of starting a VB programme with DF with an older child (complex presentation hence late diagnosis) feeling like were too late but also hoping if we go full on will help. Seems to be lots of praise when starting at 2/3 but not later, please help with any positive experiences..

My 9year old receives VB. I wouldn't go with DF personally. Too much money for too little direct input plus IMO a refusal to update practice with latest research, plus a preference for the 'easy' off the shelf typical cases. BCBAs are on the increase. Some specialise in language disorders, sensory difficulties, older kids, social skills etc. I'd find one of those, and make it a criteria that they lived (And stayed, rather than jet abroad regularly) locally.
