Thomasland in May

Hi there

We're thinking of travelling to Thomasland from NI in May (around 4-7 May.). Could anyone tell me is this week a half term holiday in England? Trying to avoid busiest times if possible!

Will need self catering accommodation as will need 3 bedrooms - have two DC and they can't share with us or each other as one is ASD so there would be zero sleep for anyone. Anyone got recommendation for good (preferably bit luxurious...) self catering nearby?

Also if anyone has any other tips I'd love to hear them! DS1 receives higher rate DLA so hoping we can maybe get an access pass to help with the queues?
