My son has become very sensitive to the feel of writing paper

All of a sudden over the last week my 7 year old DS has been complaining that the paper is 'too dry' and he can't bear the feel of it on his bare hand/arm when writing. He has Autism. Does anyone have any experience of this and any suggestions that can help. So far I have tried allowing him to have a cloth/ long sleeve top to cover the paper but he still seems to be struggling. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you, those are brilliant ideas. It's just come on so sudden, it's taken me by surprise.
