Computer/iPad game with a town or shopping centre and lifts?

Ds (4.5)is currently (very) into lifts and has found a PC game where you just go up and down in a lift. I'm trying to expand this interest a bit by looking for a game where he can use a lift but also explore a town or shopping centre or something a bit less limited. So far I can't find anything.

Any ideas?

My DS loves everything on Beno's page. I have to say, you know you have a...non-typical, shall we say, child when you walk into a room where he is playing a computer game and you hear coming from the screen, in very enthusiastic tones, "let's go and find some lifts to film"!

I have just got strangely excited at this thread!

I thought it was just Ds and beno who were so obsessed with lifts.

I have to say I was unaware that there are so many different manufacturers of lifts. I can now tell a kone from an Otis at 100 paces!

Beno's Skyscraper Sim was a huge favourite round here for a long time (it's edged out now, in favour of Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, though).
