Ds 2 was diagnosed with ADHD and sensory processing disorder when he was 6 years old. He's 8 now. Pretty settled on meds but has verbal tics

For a long while it was like his catching his breath in his throat.

Now it's a high pitched scream! Meds or not he can do it throughout the day!

Any idea how we can deal with this? My poor neighbours have to endure it from very early Confused

My DD has Tourette's and the advice she's being given just now is that the brain can't do two things at once. So she's supposed to try and 'catch' her tics and convert it to something else. My DS is good at changing other motor tics into facial twitches

So could you get your son to sing rather than scream. It's not easy, I know
