Ok to cut a long story short my son is nearly 8 weve always had a hard time with him, he had 1-1 all the way through nurseryy and help through most classes till year 2, now hes coping fine at school and not at home.

Previously we have been told he has autistic traits and sensory issues, had been told it would be hfa depending on what school saod but shes not had info back from school thats how the traits came around.

Anyway lifes been awful, teacher said to me she thinks hes on the spectrum, i went into school and said id had enough, they got a private OT in whos said in as many words he has SPD.

As my sons threatening to kill himself we got another referal to Cahms who have now sent a report back saying he should be assessed for Autism.

So what do i do now? do i wait till we see the peadatrician again? go to my gp? what do i do about the Spd? will someone get an OT for that?
