My dd has weak working memory, so loses everything. She used to get told off for forgetting her text books, maths equipment etc.
She can have something in her hand one minute and the next it is gone.
ds is dyslexic and that also causes problems with organisation so he lost his passport just after clearing passport control (phew). He also lost the photos we took when we set about replacing it.
The main job for me has been getting staff to stop telling them off for things they cannot help.
And the next thing has been getting the staff actually to support them in organisation skills. Gone better for ds than dd so far.
