DS 9.8 suddenly refusing to walk and getting more aggressive

DS1 who is non-verbal and seemed to be settling down has been getting a lot more aggressive and hitting aggressive at home, on the bus and in school. In the last few days, he has been bend over when walking and now prefers to crawl round the house. on the occasions where we have managed to get him to move from one room to another rounded unaided (usually to and from the kitchen or toilet), he ran rather than walked. We've been to A&E but nothing was found and without any communication from him, it's been hard to tell. He normally has a high pain threshold so we don't often know when he's ill till it's quite serious, we are starting to wonder whether theres a link between the aggression and refusal to walk and if it's pain related. He also cries a lot these days but mainly at night. Has anyone experienced anything similar please?

Sorry you got the last post twice. Had another thought BOWELS you said he was walking bending over. Does he go regularly has he been lately?

Sorry used to work in respite home with dc who could not communicate you'd be surprised how often bowels were behind behaviour, seizures etc

Thank you. We went back to a&e and have been in hospital since yesterday. They have done tests and xrays and are leaning towards something called irritable hip. He's also low on vitamin d and has been prescribed supplements.

Good news that hospital have found and are treating hope he makes a speedy recovery.
