Hi All My DD has just been diagnosed by GOSH as having APD (Spatial Processing disorder subtype). They have recommended a listening device for school either an FM Genie or iSense. Does anyone have any experience of either of these? They have also recommended listening therapy software called Lisn and Learn which is obtained from the National Acoustics Laboratories in Sydney, Australia - and once again, does anyone have any experience of this? many thanks MNs xx

My Dd is meant to be using the isense at school but they don't tend to bother with it. I think she has probably used it about half a dozen times over the past few weeks. (She was diagnosed by Gosh in the summer). The ear piece is quite flimsy and keeps falling out of her ear.

The school has the device on loan from a learning department within the LA so they were happy to trial it as no cost was involved. Sorry not much help really and yes Gosh recommended Lisn and learn which we haven't followed up with yet but may do in the future.
