DS looked sad when I picked him up from school. Till his class mate told me that some older boys ( I think) kicked him.

I really like how his class maters are supportive of him.

Anyway, I'm a very protective parent, I think, and when I heard that, I just felt really angry and sad for my son. Usually my first reaction I would go up to the parents or kids, make an appointment with the head teacher and bring the parents in.

Kind of at lost what to do.

You need to speak to the class teacher and tell your son to tell the teacher if somebody hurts him. When DS was in ms the head always said that parent's should not approach each other if there were issues (rough area, lots of fights!) and to go straight to the class teacher or head.
Speak to the school tomorrow as they can't do anything if they aren't aware.
