Is there anyone out there feeling frustrated with Jonathan Tommey from the Autism Clinic? He has stopped making contact all of a sudden. Does anyone know what has happened or is anyone still in contact with him?

Why do you say that? He has a good reputation actually.

I’m pretty sure this is the guy who used to run the “"autism file" programme on information TV / showcase (Open access TV channels which you can pay to have any show you create aired). Which was "autism mums TV" now "autism Clinic"
I would be very wary of any information from this guy, the show was dodgey as hell. He's getting enough money from somewhere to have a show created and aired on TV, my guess is it from people looking for cures.

It depends on what you are hoping to achieve for your child. I would recommend someone who isn't a sports scientist and isn't merely going to charge you hundreds of pounds and then sell you some vitamins, also at inflated prices.

It is, Jason. Proper tin foil hat stuff, that.

In fat, a tin foil hat might "work" as well as some of these so called therapies. It has as sound an evidence base.

It is, Jason.

Thought it might be, he seems to have a bit of an empire built up around his autism cures, I believe his wife does the same kind of thing.

I didn't like the condescending tone of his show either, it had a real "we're better people than you" air to it.
