There was a post a while back about a little boy who would talk non stop for hours about star wars. DSD (has asd and brain damage) is not that bad but she is certainly bothering me today and i really need to vent!

It's the first day of the holidays, dsd, dp and me are all home. She will not stop talking to me, I'm not a novelty, we live together, and arghhh!

She doesn't do this so much to DP, but probably cos he is very intolerant of it while I feel I don't want to upset her or be mean as I'm her step mum.

She's just gone on and on today, she wants to do a 'show' when her nan and sisters get here later, involving her dancing around and singing, and she's told me about this 20 times and expects me to listen. She has asked me about 50 billion questions- are your eggs dippy? no. Why? I didn't want dippy eggs. Why? because. Are they hard? not too hard. Are they soft? Nope. Are they in the middle? yep. Are they a little bit hard? whyyyyyyy???
We've tried to give her things to do as we're busy- dp was doing some financial paper work and now is washing up, earlier I was cleaning and am now doing some uni work... and typing on here :P But it's constant Alita, look at what I'm doing! No look! Did you see? Alita what are you doing? Alita Alita Alita.... She just doesn't want to do anything other than persistently badger me, even when she sat by herself she insisted on banging as loudly as she could on a box...
