All quiet so far. My curtains are closed and my door is locked. I'm feeling ill today so curled up on the sofa with a blanket and iPad. I think they will hand deliver it later or maybe email it as I have a feeling they've instructed a solicitor but i could be wrong.

I'm going to say it will be hand delivered around 5pm tonight by an LA officer on their way home.

Nothing yet but there are so many people who have today as their response date! They are going to take it all the way claw, they made that quite clear already.

Crossing fingers for you. Mine was delivered in a most unconventional manner - by post! I even had a phone call the day before to warn me that it would be thin and why.

A month on, still awaiting the outcome of the why, mind. Time for a friendly email to get us shuffled to the top of the in tray, I think. DS1 hasn't set foot in his own classroom since before half term.

You never know they might surprise you!

I almost fell off the chair, when I emailed them naming the indi school I wanted and they said yes no problem immediately without any fight whatsoever. Especially as they kicked, screamed and I had to drag them all the way up until this point! A total change of heart and direction on their part!

Will check back later to see if you have a reply Smile

Good luck, our decision was yesterday - heard nothing. I will take that as a bad sign

Well post been and gone and nothing so leaves email or hand delivery or nothing I guess!

Mine was due Fri, heard nothing, I phoned on Mon and got an email that afternoon (refusal), hard copy in the post yesterday. Fingers crossed for you.

Don't even bother looking at the time until after school. Don't look at emails or answer the door.

From 4:30pm onwards, take your phone off the hook and pile everyone into a backroom with popcorn and a video. You must sit under the letter box with your computer for entertainment and ignore the knock at the door.

When the letter starts to come through, grab it and pull it hard, whilst continuing to ignore any knocks or calls.

Hopefully it will freak the deliverer enough to be put off attempting that again.

The post box is on the front wall of the house - we don't have a door with a letter box but I'm guessing they won't be able to get it in the postbox as its going to be so thick what with the copies of her work school have been secretly handing over to them.

In that case wear a thin white nighty and smudge your make up to answer the door. Look as intimidating as you can.

If it is brought up at tribunal you tell them it world book day and you Cathy from Wuthering Heights innit! Perhaps even put Kate Bush's song on loop from 4:45..................

Do you know anyone with a pet snake that needs socialising, this afternoon? That would be a mighty fine adornment, as you answered the door.

FFS - what is wrong with your LA! (don't answer that!) Tell them to post it for next day delivery so you get it tomorrow. Or tell them to bring it round tonight - seeing how they already have your address pre-plugged into their SatNav!

They've already failed the first hurdle - they should have got it to you today.

Send them an email saying that they are required by law to get it to you today and you expect it either by email or courier.

Next time I suggest someone submits a request for SA I'll tell them to fill out the form and then call the LA to come collect it.........

TBH I'm gonna be PMSL all evening with this.

What a wonderful tragedy this is. You should write an Opera based on it.

You must be shaking with frustration though. Sorry!

well t was delivered by hand - got dh to phone her - she said they had emailed it to the tribunal!

well mrs 'intervention table' herself is presenting the case to tribunal. they haven't included the first set of views only the second set. they haven't served the dyslexia action report, they haven't served the report from class teacher who stated she wasn't making progress after lengthy interventions, they are sticking with shes making progress but theres no evidence at all to show how they have come to this conclusion!

I emailed them last night and said I was aware that her work was being copied and being handed to the LA and I had not consented to this. this if you remember was the piece of work the teacher made her redo - they haven't served any of her work on us either.

they have served their sen criteria on us but not the other LA one which I will serve. states school don't support the request =lots of things which are factually inaccurate - also thrown in that as we moved around as dh was in the armed forces that may have impacted her education - shame most of her education has been in this county

so overall nothing in there that has me worried - they have been extremely selective in what they have sent and what they have used so I think that says it all really - oh and shes on school action only. they make some comment about me applying for a statement only 28 days after she went on the sen register so they are saying its all too soon and have to allow the interventions to take place - but they fail to mention that these interventions have been in place since march last year so weve had a year now.

Did you serve the first set of views, the dyslexia action report and the class teacher's report on the tribunal and the LA? If so the LA was right not to duplicate them.
