Ds will independently generate 2 x solutions to a scenario. Ds will independently rate how he feels about a certain scenario before and after problem solving. Ds will generate a 9 part narrative.
All 3 targets 'fully achieved' and no new ones set.
'Ds has demonstrated excellent language skills. He is able to use higher level language skills to problem solve and generate appropriate solutions. However he cannot generalise his skills from a 1:1 adult led structured environment to the classroom and playground'.
What is the bloody point of this.
I already contacted SALT and apparently much of ds's difficulties are 'situational' and she cannot help with that, other than getting TA to have a chat as and when it happens. School do not know 'as and when it happens' as ds doesn't tell a teacher. Ds is still reporting a high number of 'incidents' at home.
I have pointed out to SALT that she needs to take a holistic approach and that beginning to understand a concept, is not the same as demonstrating solid understand of the concept. She is now ignoring me.
