Hi All
I'd like to do something to help my NT DS with his reading comprehension since he seems to not be making much progress in this area - I had a thread in Primary Ed here

I remember Mimio Headsprout being highly recommended and wondered if anyone had experience of the comprehension bit specifically?

I think it's now called Mimio Reading. Is there a UK version with UK accent and spelling or do I buy the US product? I find googling Mimio boggling - there doesn't seem to be a simple website where you can go to buy the product!

All input gratefully received smile

email this lady - mimio needs to sort out the UK ordering process as a matter of urgency.

You'll be pleased to hear the actual product contains UK, not US spellings! Do say in your initial email that you are based in the UK to be sure you get the correct version of the software.

Mimio scores most highly for me in that it keeps DS motivated, where many other schemes we have tried failed. For this reason alone I consider it worth persevering to make your purchase. Unlike so many other things it's been a peace of cake to slot into our daily routine.

There are two products the first is called early reading and only teaches reading skills. The second is more advanced and deals with understanding and comprehension.

Thanks Bochead that contact info is really helpful and it's good to hear how it's worked for you. I shall investigate further.
