So glad this forum is here.

I get into such a pickle about DS and how the school are trying to help but seem to be utterly clueless in translating professional advice into actions that it winds me up, and how DS goes for so long being brilliant and then gets his stroppy head on and wont comply with anything and has a really bad week or two and its soul destroying...sometimes it all feels like its too much.

...and you are all here sharing your experiences, as away of helping eachother, making sure others know they are not alone, providing the support to get us into gear to take action if needed, and getting us to buck up when we just cant get over ourselves.

I'd be in the asylum without you all sharing your knowledge and experiences

So thank you and Merry Christmas

I agree its a fab forum, especially because even those without a diagnosis are welcome and i feel i can post here with any worries and concerns and not be told im a paranoid parent.

thanks mumsnet and Merry Christmas :)

This post nearly made me cry and I am a hard faced old bag.

This board has been my main support for a long time.

I come here because I know someone will always know what I am stressed/happy about.

I honestly dont know what I would do without all of you.

Thanks and I love you allXmas Grin

Totally agree,a big thank you from me also. We wouldn't have got as far as we have with DS without this board- a great place to come for comfort, to vent, to receive words of wisdom and encouragement, to share both highs and lows and to "be" with others who totally understand my complicated and rollercoaster life with ASD. Merry Christmas!!!!!x Xmas Smile

Thank you from me too. Without support from this board Ds wouldn't have got the diagnosis he should have had and we wouldn't be going to tribunal.
