Balancing my other very many thread..

Have come back from our parent evening at DS2's 8 school.

I love his school! He attends an ASD unit in a small mainstream school and he is doing so well. His reading, writing and number work is coming along really well and has made lots of progress in the last year since going there.

Am so proud of my boy, he is in year 4 and may be working at year 1/2 level but he is working so hard and has the support he needs. I was nearly crying at all the progress he has made and the wonderful comments about him.

Just wanted to share something very positive! :)

Thank you everyone! Made me smile when he happily showed us his work station and the drawing pinned above it, " that's a man sitting on a toilet, reading a newspaper!". His teacher just smiled and I admired his drawing skills! :)
