My lives a perfect life sister. She posted a pic of all the cousins on Facebook, and one of her friends made a comment about my DS, but used 'she' instead of 'he' (since dS is so beautiful! ). I corrected her, but kindly, and a few more comments followed. All very friendly.
The final comment is from my sister. 'He'll love all this female attention when he's older, LOL'.
DS has ASD and hates any form of attention except from me. He has only hugged my sister once in all his 9 years, even though she tries to hug him every time she sees him. It's not as if she doesn't know the reality.
I'm now feeling furious that she has to deny the truth and pretend to all her Fakebook friends that he's 'normal' with this sort of comment.
Would it be unreasonable of me to just put 'No, he won't. He has autism, had you forgotten?'
This is the latest in a long line of idiotic things she's said and done. It's nothing new .
