Feel free to ignore this thread just want a moan as my head feels like its about to explode, we are stuck in the house today as ds2 is unwell and ds1 could literally talk the hind legs of a donkey, i know its somehow related to his sensory issues but my god he never stops! noii need Wine

I have tried everything i can think of to engage him in something but still he asks incessant questions, thought i could occupy him getting him to make a christmas drawing book but hes just rushes through scribbling and asks me everything, what colour, what now, do you like this mum, looooook mum! (shoved in face) what am i doing again?, argh ive forgot how to turn the page?!? counting to 100 over and over when hes not doing that hes bouncing and twirling and jumping on the sofa sigh and panicking at everything his baby brother does shouting panicked MUM LOOK! OH NOOO every 2 seconds its only half 3 and im mentally exhausted.

What 'annoys' me most is had parents evening last week with his new teacher and thought maybe someone would pick up on something as hes had verbal warnings for behaviour almost daily recently but nothing, apparently hes doing great, advanced on his work, popular etc, the opposite of what i see, a child struggling, getting in friends faces and being pushed away, never invited to a single party or out to play and a constant worrier Hmm

Have you thought of somehow secretly filming him? show it to GP or school (maybe they can help with strategies)

thanks for replying Smile i have tried in the past but cant seem to manage witout him seeing tried setting the camera up to record but he wondered why it was out etc, he spots everything. Actually complained tonight because his place mat and chair at tea time was apparently slightly moved over Hmm

ooh i wish i did, im actually really impatient but am desperatly trying.

Hes in bed fast asleep now, long may it last... so can regain my thoughts. The afternoon only got more difficult after trying to convince him that no the people on the tv are NOT behind it and the solar system we tried looking at on the pc does not have our planet inside it and the sun wont burn him when i zoom in......
