DS loves cars, football and dinosaurs. He also doesn't play with toys and not interested in anything other than the above. So, never knowing what to get him for Christmas/Birthday etc and always wasting a load of money I do tend to sit back and wonder and ponder and think, then usually miss out on deals etc

My friend text me today with a link on one of the facebook cheap shops, saying she found DS something for Christmas. Online I managed to haggle my way down to £70, then I had to talk DH into going and getting it (I wasn't dressed, hair not done etc)

So at 7ish we went to collect what DS has been asking for, for ages..........a pet dinosaur (don't know if anyone remembers my post on here about him asking for one), ok it wasn't a T Rex but a cute Triceratops. DH brought it to the car for DS to see before paying for it. As soon as he saw it, his anxiety overuled and straight into meltdown. Then it roared.............DS now doesn't like dinosaurs and wants rid of all his. DH said, see what you've done. I replied, yeah, I don't need to watch walking with dinosaurs anymore haha.

This is what I was going to get him x

On the subject of Christmas presents, I thought I'd weaned DD2 (we're suspecting Aspergers) off 101 Dalmatians. Ok, at the cost of Matilda being substituted, but I patted myself on the back.

Today, talking about ideal Christmas presents, DD2 says...

A toy dalmatian dog
