So Dd3 who has ASD, hypermobility and dodgy co ordination has decided that she wants to become a contempary[sp] dancer.

Picture this scene.....

Dd3 throwing herself around my living room in her very baggy pj's to music from The Wanted and The Lion King [not necessarily in that order], last night it was Avril Laveen[sp].

She tripped over the rug and nearly knocked the TV off the stand and then stood up flapped her arms around and nearly destroyed the central heating thermostat!!

What am I going to do?[ apart from p... myself laughing]GrinGrin

Go on, put on 'I'm sexy and I know it' - I dare you Grin
DS1 is dyspraxic with hypermobility and him dancing to this music could give me hours of pleasure.
Do you have accidental damage on your insurance? Grin

Bubble wrap?? The house that is.. Plus the added benefit of popping the bubbles everytime you move, means you'll have constant stress relief! My work here is done

Sounds funny, to those of us not having our home wrecked!!

Does she go to dance lessons?

Report
Ineedalife · 13/11/2012 17:48

No mamma, she doesntGrin.

She can barely stand up without demolishing something, how could i inflict that on some poor dance teacher. Lol

Brilliant. DS was doing some sensory seeking swinging a wooden snake round and round at the weekend, DH said 'mind, you'll hurt the tv yourself'. DS shouted 'NO I WON'T. And then the snake sort of swung itself round him and smacked him on the bum. Twas hilaire. Although hes not planning on making a career out of it at least!

Grin
I have 3 Ds's who like to put dance shows on for me. Thankfully, only one is dyspraxic so i still have half my house intact.
Gangnam style seems to be a favourite here, too.

No ornaments or anything. I put them all away when Dd3 got mobile and they are still awayGrin
