personalclown, i tried to send you a personalmessage but kept getting an error message, did you get it?
Anyway, wasnt anything secret.. just that i read your post about your son on the autism meltdown thread in active convo
My son is axactly as you describe, the silent tears, the distressed sob, etc etc.
we have managed to reduce ds2's anxiety by sensory therapy with a specialist sensory OT it has helped him hugely.
He is so better able to cope with the unknown, with sensory overload etc. His general anxiety level is lower & is a happier person.
Yes he still gets anxious, we still cant ge thim out of the house.
But just wanted to say it can get better.

Morning!! I'm not doing anything too early as DS is away with my mum. It's the only peace I get all year!!

I got 4 messages thanks MMM! Glitch in the system as I sent mulitples to someone about American Horror Story.

Thank you for the reassurance. He's only just started CAMHS so we'll see what happens. It doesn't bother me so much if he doesn't really get past it as there is so many that have it worse than I do. I kind of feel guilty for moaning as he's really not that much hard work.

He will leave the house. He just hold on to me, repeat that he wants to go home constantly and stim excessively. We're looking in an Ipad for him so he can have a visual timetable, timer and a few PECS as he can't expressive anything beyond basic emotions. He just doesn't have the thinking/language.

Oh well. He's home tomorrow bringing loads of washing and loads of crap that my mother has overindulged him in. The joys of my house!
