It is SO much cheaper than provision - please don't let the Government see this while they are drafting legislation! A caring carrot for each child would drastically reduce the SEN bill!

2 queries

  1. Go on admit it - who has asked for one in their Xmas stocking Wink?

  1. Who will carry one into their next "multi-disciplinary meeting"?

I SO want one. I can stick pins in it, and punch it and verbally abuse it!

No way do I ever want to see my children cuddle it though. That would freak me out.

Halloween party game for SN Mums (just add strong liquor!)

You will need:-
Music - "Pass the the Duchy" by Musical Youth, "Time is running out" by Muse, or "Burn down da system" by Collie Budz.
HAT PIN - vintage design - this must be from the refridgerator Mother era and well sharpened, modern designs are just too humane
Alcohol - variety not important so long as it's strong (moonshine or absinthe may add an additional suitably hallucinogenic surreal atmosphere to proceedings )
A caring carrot

Instructions

  1. Play game as per NT child game of pass the parcel.
  2. Every time the Music stops the holder of the carrot must "stick that pin where it hurts" (extra points for below the belt).
  3. You must stop sticking to da man (or carrot) when the music starts.
  4. A winner is declared when the carrot finally disintegrates.

Cackles, Heckles and general abuse are postively encouraged in order to empower players, and facillitate communication.

NB Children should not be present within a 5 mile vicinity of this game lest the language they hear permanently damages their hearing.

I think that it also needs for the current carrot holder to inform the group of something that the caring carrot had said to them.

with extra drinks for each mention of Einstein.

Or alternatively we could wait till bonfire night and see what happens when you do stick a rocket up a carrots jacksie. Wink

Or we could burn it on top the bonfire while sharing s'mores & a jug of mulled wine (for those SN's Mums with less than 12 months experience of "the system", so just needing a gentle introduction to cc destruction techniques at this stage, as I think this is far to civilised to have any theraputic benefit for the rest of us).

Or pin it to a Catherine wheel...Grin You see that thought makes me feel brighter already.

Me too. I thinking it is unlikely that the LA will attend so would love to take CC as their representative.

It is a Year 5 AR, when we have to think about secondary transfer - so everyone will be attending! I plan to keep schtum and see what they have to say...I will probably be better off talking to my carrot.
