22nd November: ‘Looking Ahead for Children with Special Needs’

The Government’s planned reforms to SEN, to the way disability services are organised, and to the welfare system will result in big changes for families of children with special needs.

This event is an important opportunity to find out more about the changes that might affect your family and to discuss your priorities for the future of services in Royal Greenwich.

‘Looking Ahead for Children with Special Needs’ will feature presentations on the Government’s plans, Q&A sessions on benefits reform, and a talk from local wheelchair rugby star and Paralympian Andy Barrow!

This free event will be taking place at Charlton House (Charlton Road, SE7 8RE) – starting at 10.30am but with activities running throughout the day. To reserve a place or to find out more please email send-pathfinder@royalgreenwich.gov.uk or telephone 0208 921 2093.

Might be worth attending to see which way the wind is blowing in one pathfinder authority, as they'll probably all copy one another wink

Thanks bochead. Are you going? I might try and get there, though it's not my borough.
