dd2's habit of rubbing her face on things is bugging me.

only because she stands on one leg when she does it and falls over all the time. its driving me insane. she will also throw all the cusions off the sofa so she can find her favourite rubbing spot. arrrrrrgh!!

lol misdee!! I think its sweet, especially when she is rubbing trees.
I tell you what drive me mad with dd1, is the contant touching and picking of my skin, she is also very touchy-feely, in many ways your dd2 reminds me of my dd1

she loves trees. Grin

it can be very irriatating when you are in a rush and she wants to stroke every single tree we pass tho.

when they moved here he used to hug the trees outside the house saying 'aww i love you tree'

seriously tho, do i limit the time she spends rubbing her face on things at home? its the sofa, the toy chest, the door, the floor, the walls, everything!!

misdee my dd did this for years and not just her face! She is 10.5 now also spent hours when younger posting coaster/coffee cup mats down between the arm of sofas/cushions. She is AS and has SID not sure which part this correlates to, but she did grow out of it at about age 6 and replaced it with something else! sorry can't be of more help :)

Oh she also had a thing with public bins/letter boxes (not hugging but memorised where all the ones where within a 1 mile radius! Good luck for your assessment btw

hmmmm, she rubbed her face on a wooden fence today.........

dont think she'll do that again soon (or am i dreaming?)
