My son will start reception next year. He has global developmental delay and the main areas of delay are speech and language, fine motor skills, cognitive skills. On the other hand he is very social and has no behavioural issues.
I am looking for a mainstream school in Woking. He hasn't got a statement yet so we have to apply as normal. I have made appointments to see the SENCO in couple of schools but I have no idea how to decide which schools are SEN friendly. Is anyone aware of such schools in Woking area or have gone through a similar situation?
