I have introduced Dd3 to her new school shoes today!

What a nightmare, we managed to get them on for about 10 minutes after trying on and off all day.

She never wears shoes or socks at home and prefers crocs flip flops if she has to have something on.

Her old shoes are battered, too small and not giving her any support at all but I suppose they must be comfyhmm.

I almost went down the trainer route but she is into wearing skirts for school at the moment so I thought trainers would stand out abit.

I hope you get something your Ds will tolerate lenin.

As long as his feet aren't too wide I can recommend the Lonsdale style trainers (about £10ish a pair) they look pretty much like shoes, but are very soft and the sole is very pliable - DS started wearing them for fencing but ended up having a pair for school too as he found them so comfy.
