I thought your post on that thread was excellent.

You should make labels though - stating 'This is a label, not a diagnosis!'

I have now found the thread and read it, wow what a thread.

I thought about contributing but you guys masde most of my points valliently said. There is still so much ignorane about what it takes to get help for our children isn't thereSad.

I'm sure I've posted this before - but it's one of my favourite stories...

During the 6 year assessment proccess my DS had, we were sat in the paed's office, she was talking to me, DS was still sat where she'd been talking to him, playing with some toys on a table.

She told me that she was still unwilling to label DS at this time, DS gave her a confused look, looke himself up and down and felt the back of his neck then said 'I haven't got any labels Hmm'

So he hasn't got a label, he checked Grin

I would, Lisad123, but I've hidden it for my sanity! Its in Behaviour and development though.
