I know I need to send in nappies but do you also send wipes - they didn't say and I forgot to ask!

I used to provide wipes as well as nappies, and they just used whatever they had unless you had specific ones for sensitive skin or whatever. If you don't have any, they'll have some and you can always ask tomorrow. Smile

I used to work in one. If wipes were sent we used them, if not we had a spray & tissue combo.

At DS's special school we send in wipes now. They used to be provided but have bee cut due to money saving. But be prepared for them to use 10 times as many as you would.
I don't mind really as we get to use the brand of our choice but I did wonder if they make the non nappy wearers send in loo paper!!!!!

Good point starfishmummy about the loo paper - LOL. With all the cutbacks, wouldn't be surprised if schools start requesting that!!!
DD has been at SN school for 14 years and I have never yet been asked to send in wipes - nor as far as I know has anyone else. I think they use 'dry wipes' and water. We can get dry wipes free through community nurse anyway which we use to wash DD's nappy area if she is not being bathed/showered - so if they asked me to send wipes in would just send the free ones to them!

Thanks for all your responses - I put some in the bag and asked this morning when I took him in - they provide wipes!
Ds had a ball today and didn't want to leave, I had to go in to class to get him!
