Can I just celebrate - ds just waved - little things are huge aren't they!

Ds (14 months, developmentally delayed), just waved goodbye to dh, we both burst into tears. He sat unsupported at 12 months and that felt huge, but this has just floored us!

Congratulations.

Hopefully it's just a developmental delay and he'll continue to make fabulous progress for many many years........

Well done little Hazey Jane, what a clever boy Smile

You know that you'll have to wave at everybody now so that you get repeated bursts of joy don't you?

Ok, now he won't go to sleep because he is too busy showing off his new skill to his sisters - there is always a pay off isn't there!

Thankyou for sharing my little moment of joySmile

Brilliant. I remember how I felt when dd2 started to say bye bye - I actually cried. It was also really hard to share with friends whose dc were NT as they just wouldn't have got it. Last week dd2 ate a bit of sandwich and i was ecstatic!
