Anyone read this book - bit skint right now and wondering if this book is a worthwhile investment as it's referred to several times in a recent report for DS.

Has anyone here read it and if so how helpful did you find it? Does it regurgitate the usual visual timetables stuff or is there anything new that might help a HFA lad? If I do buy it I'll be lending it to DS's TA - do the strategies recomended help in a school setting at all?

It does look interesting doesn't it? Maybe I just need to overcome my cynicism re local authority involvement lol !

Trouble is there are so many books etc out there that I'm now trying to limit my purchases to those that other Mums rec' or the budget would be more blown than Greece's in a week.

My local autism support group has a library of books that it lends to members. Might be worth checking that out? Or I guess just order it from your normal library. Then you can buy it if it's any good.....
