after a lovely (though exhausting) birthday tea with DS6 (6!), three friends, two babies, no melt downs and ONLY TEN MINUTES of stimming-like own-world play behaviours in a 3 hour period.

No. IANBU. More wine anyone?

coff33pot Sat 06-Aug-11 23:42:18

grin pour away! wine

sounds like it all went well! You deserve to celebrate with another tipple smile

MrsShrekTheThird Sat 06-Aug-11 23:46:33

sounds brilliant! Write it down in your Good Days book. (Honestly. I do. so that on the shittest of days I remember that there is brilliant stuff too)

Have another wine
I'm joining you grin

coff33pot Sat 06-Aug-11 23:50:48

MrsShrek I do that here too! We have what we call the Happy Book. Bit like a scrap book with pics of allsorts we have done.

WilsonFrickett Sat 06-Aug-11 23:58:10

Can someone remind me to start a happy days boom when I sober up? Thanyouplease. What a lovely idea grin

WilsonFrickett Sat 06-Aug-11 23:58:35

Book, not boom. Hic!

coff33pot Sun 07-Aug-11 00:03:00

We will give you 24hrs Wilson otherwise using the Prit Stick might hurt that head of yours grin

EllenJaneisnotmyname Sun 07-Aug-11 00:03:29

pmsl @ boom.
(boom boom and other wine-ed lame jokes)

coff33pot Sun 07-Aug-11 00:17:50

Has Basil Brush been paying a visit to this page grin

MrsShrekTheThird Sun 07-Aug-11 00:26:15

evidently. But I haven't got my hand up a squirrel/fox's bum.

more wine

WilsonFrickett Sun 07-Aug-11 00:36:18

Frickett, if we can't wine who can? wine!

I really should go to bed. I am at risk of Tarquin bashing on a 'should I be worried that DS2 cannot yet split the atom' type thread...

EllenJaneisnotmyname Sun 07-Aug-11 00:38:06

Where, where? I love a laugh.

coff33pot Sun 07-Aug-11 00:38:42

sooooo thats why Basil was always slanty eyed! grin

Yes please my glass is empty!.........if you can poor one handed that is.........grin

MrsShrekTheThird Sun 07-Aug-11 00:49:17

pmsl @ pour one handed (other hand presumably up foxes @rse?)

loving the way we're chasing round the talkboards. And g'wan, link to restrained tarquin bashing opportunity, please ?

coff33pot Sun 07-Aug-11 00:54:57

yes amusing thread sounds good grin

I am just busy cracking up imagining Mrs Shrek bouncing a puppet around her table. Its late one imagines all sorts in the small hours grin

WilsonFrickett Sun 07-Aug-11 00:55:43

No love, I made it up grin although I'm sure I could find one if I did a search

<might possibly be off to do a search>

EllenJaneisnotmyname Sun 07-Aug-11 00:55:54

Don't make us use advanced search, that really is stalking.

EllenJaneisnotmyname Sun 07-Aug-11 00:57:03

Primary Ed is usually a good place to start.

mariamagdalena Sun 07-Aug-11 00:59:37

No wine open, but I'm squiffy through sleep deprivation so can I join in?

MrsShrekTheThird Sun 07-Aug-11 00:59:41

ahem grin
What I get up to with Basil is my business I'll have you know. pmsl

Do you know I lol'd too loud at all that and woke dd up (who's sneaked into my kingsize. DH on nights and she's not daft, knows how to warm her feet on my middle, the pest)

coff33pot Sun 07-Aug-11 01:00:04

You know I have never actually looked anywhere around mumsnett apart from the odd AIBU this week and that was all your fault grin When you said you were all on chat the other day ellen I had no idea where it was grin

MrsShrekTheThird Sun 07-Aug-11 01:00:17
