Will be worth mentioing at her next paed review (if it's due soon). Keep a diary over time of the frequency of them and how long they last. It may even be worth taking some video so you can show them what 'it' looks like.

use the 'cotton wool ball' test.
next time, lob one in her direction - if a true 'absence' she won't react. if she startles or jumps, or bats it away etc, then it's prob not neuro based.

my son did this alot when he where younger not so much now he's 8
