Hi everyone, can someone enlighten me with what to do about a bedguard for my daughter, for our first ever holiday? Well, it's just a weekend away in a hotel, but our first time away as a family! My girl is 8 but has a rare genetic condition, Pieront Syndrome. She is like a much younger child! and she can't sleep unless she has her bedguard to make her feel safe!

You could try Dream Tubes, which have inflatable side bits, making them quite portable. I have never seen them in action myself, only online, but remember thinking "what a good idea!"

The Lindam Folding Bed Rail is quite light and according to Boots, comes in its own travel bag. It looks from the picture as if it folds length and widthways for travel purposes.

I second the dream tubes as well, they look great. I've been considering them myself for ds2, as he falls out of bed every night without fail at our holiday home every year.

We just got a Tomy one from Argos for ds (similar age but very tiny)its similar to the Lindam that Moose has suggested but our Tomy would not work on beds with slatted bases,

Did you ask the hotel....some have them to hire for a small charge, save you taking one. hth.

I think fledglings also do a sort of blow up rectangle (like a paddling pool) which is quite a high inflatable guard that goes round all 4 sides of a single bed, but suspect thats not a cheap option
if its for feeling cosy rather than falling out is a bedtent a possibility think other places do them too as these are boys ones. You could always try it out at home before you go.
