I know exactly what you mean. My ds does this shrieking noise which goes through me and I am also constantly on edge that my dd's noises will upset ds. Even though he makes loads of noise, he doesn't tolerate anyone else making noise! When ds is at respite, I can't believe how quiet the house is. I imagine that this is what normal life must sound like!

My son's obsessed with random noises & not only does them but makes me repeat them back. I constantly get "Mummy, do 'chsssk' " or some variation on that. I manage to tune it out a lot of the time, but I swear when he's supposedly asleep I can still hear him chatting commits self

Oh the nonsense noises. Drives me insane. And then sometimes he imitates the baby's sounds (only louder of course), then the middle one gets jealous and joins in (with a whiny overtone), then DH starts watching formula one on loud to drown them out(surround sound car noises)... AARGH
